VivoKey Actions

Actions turn a scan of your implant into something happening. Rather than your chip simply returning an identifier for something else to interpret, you assign it a behaviour — open a link, hand over contact details, share a profile — and that behaviour runs on whatever phone taps you.

The behaviour is bound to your VivoKey account rather than written into the chip itself, so changing what your implant does is an edit on your account, not a rewrite of the implant. Point it somewhere new today and every scan from today onward follows the new destination.

Actions need a registered VivoKey implant — either a VivoKey Spark 2 or an Apex Flex — and a VivoKey account to bind it to. Setup and the current list of available Actions live at vivokey.com.

If you want to build something the stock Actions do not cover, the VivoKey Dev Kit and the Verify API are the way in. VivoKey Thermo adds body-temperature sensing to the same platform.
