Price Summary
WARNING This kit definitely contains dangerous things. While our chip implants have undergone several quality checks during manufacture and have been put through a battery of tests, nothing has been certified by any government regulatory agency for implantation or use inside the human body. Your personal decision to purchase and ultimately the safe use of these devices is strictly your responsibility and at your own risk.
The biopolymer is ISO 10993 and USP Class VI tested and certified, however the final product has not been tested post-processing, meaning material changes during processing could render the final product unsafe in some way.
There is no "preferred" location for installation of a flex device. Customers are free to install a flex into any area of the body their installation professional is comfortable with, as long as it is in the fascia layer between dermis and muscle tissue and not in an area of flexion or under a gripping surface. Even though we use images which suggest installation above the second metacarpal of one of the fingers, it is not an ideal location for such a device. Fingers are filled with tendons, nerve bundles, and very important things all packed into a very tight space. We urge you to think about easier locations like the back of the hand or in the arm/wrist.
The Apex Flex Spectrum combines the power of the Apex platform with an integrated RGB LED in a 22mm disc form factor. The Spectrum's disc antenna provides medium range performance with NFC readers, while the RGB LED blinks beneath your skin each time the implant is scanned — available in slow blink and fast blink patterns. Like all Apex variants, it runs the same Fidesmo applet platform for OTP authentication, Tesla keycard, PGP, and more.
- Integrated RGB LED blinks under your skin when scanned
- OTP Authenticator - Replace vulnerable phone-based 2FA with a secure implanted key
- Tesla Keycard - Register as a keycard for Tesla 3, Y, X*, S* (*2021+ only)
- NFC Share - Share URLs, vCards, or binary data with a tap (1kB to 32kB)
- U2F, FIDO2, and PGP applets available via Fidesmo platform
- Full list of VivoKey applets
- Fidesmo Pay is not supported for Apex Flex or any implants — no payment networks have authorized implantable payment devices
- Chip implants can't be used for GPS or tracking
This is the Apex Flex Spectrum module — a 22mm disc with integrated RGB LED. No installation kit, needle, or sterilization pouch is included. This option is intended for custom projects, professional installers who supply their own materials, or as a replacement module. Installation is considered advanced due to the disc form factor.
The Apex Flex implant is manufactured using small batch production in the USA. After inspection and cleaning, it is sealed in a Tyvek sterilization pouch with a process indicator, then processed with gas plasma to sterilize. A lot label is placed on the pouch with processing and product details, and the pouch is sealed inside a polymer pouch to help protect the sterilization pouch from contamination during storage and shipment.
It's going in your body, you should learn about things like performance expectations, installation procedure, first steps after installation, etc.
